A BIRDHOME PRODUCTION
a movie about finding your voice when no one’s listening.
Benjamin Jenks has some stunning news: the sky has been transformed into a hologram. Armed with his easel and memorized presentation, Benjamin has a standing reservation in room 301 at the local rec center where he presents this information to the public, undeterred by the fact that that no one ever actually shows up.
Until one day when a mysterious caller from a small town called Big Run informs Benjamin of a strange visual phenomena that shone in the skies over his land. Feeling validated and under the impression this was a government-staged false flag operation in the skies, Benjamin travels to Big Run to stay with the caller, Spencer Kahr: a demented sycophant with a loose grip on reality.
For the first time in his life, Benjamin has an adoring supporter, so he ignores the obvious red flags and uses the opportunity to spread his message to the locals in Big Run.
And then Kelly Churchdebrt rolls into town: a hyper-masculine, globalist-hating provocateur who believes every single thing is a government conspiracy. Benjamin is swiftly rejected by Spencer in favor of the louder, angrier and more charismatic Kelly. In order to regain Spencer’s love and his message that the sky is a lie, Benjamin must become big, loud and, in the words of Kelly, stop being such a cuck.*
